It's a lovely day.
The morning sun filters in through the high, arching windows of the Great Hall at Hogwarts, the tall window frames casting tall shadows all across the table, and you can see the patchy clouds high overhead through the invisible ceiling. It will be overcast soon, you think, but at least you have a wonderful sunrise to witness on what might be your last ever morning here at Hogwarts. Meanwhile, your nostrils are filled with the succulent flavor of the heartiest breakfast you've seen since that time your father made that delicious catch of Freshwater Plimpies. Your focus right now isn't on food, though.
You think about your father and how dreadful this must be for him. You were both together when you saw your mother die in that freak magical accident all those years ago. He didn't take it very well. You'd really like to come home to him again so that he won't be all alone, a thought which is quite awful.
And so that's where the Rebellion comes in.
Across the table from you, your friend Neville Longbottom's gaze bores into yours. It's a little disappointing that the two of you are the only ones who put in the fake Galleons from D.A. as your token for the Games. Sure, it would've been nice had Harry or Ron or even Hermione come up with some last-minute daring plan, but you can't really blame them for being downhearted, what with the Reaping of course. At least you still have Neville.
Now if only you can convince a few of the others. Allies would be nice to have.
Around your table and scattered throughout the Great Hall, you and the other Tributes are watched by Gamemakers, Ministry officials, and Death Eaters alike. Sure, you're going to need help, but it seems a waste to try to get anyone to cooperate with so many eyes watching you.
Hmmm... What to do?
A.) Coordinate a plan on your own?
B.) Try to recruit someone else to help?
