Being separated from your sister was not what you had in mind, especially considering how close the two of you have always been. Still -- after years of wearing the same clothing, attending the same school, snogging the same guys (shhh) -- you kind of relish the chance to be on your own.
"Finally," you tell Hannah, "the most noteworthy thing about me won't be that my sister and I are in different houses."
"You should never think that!" Hannah exclaims. "I could always tell you apart, Parvati."
You let out a huge groan. "I'm Padma!"
"Oh," she says uncomfortably. "Well, isn't it a nice day outside?" You'd rather she didn't try to change the subject.
"You mean other than You-Know-Who's dark clouds? Yeah, it's beautiful."
Neville comes over with a befuddled expression on his face. He leans in as Hannah whispers something in his ear, then pulls up with a look of clarity.
"Now listen to me," Neville starts, trying to be encouraging. "I know a lot of people may not care about my opinion, but speaking as a guy -- well, I think you're just as pretty as Parvati. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!"
You shake your head. "NOT helping," Hannah informs him.
You storm out of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes in a huff. You don't know why you're feeling so temperamental today. You think over the events of the last few days -- you were imprisoned by Voldemort, put into a fight-to-the-death arena and then, after concocting a wishful plan, barely escaped with your life. And yet, amid all those things, you're angrier now than you were that whole time.
You take a deep breath.
A.) Change your look so everyone knows you're Padma?
or
B.) Be content with who you are?
