Oliver Wood's voice is in your head:
I don't know how you do it, Johnson, but you always get that quaffle.
You wanted to say back, "I don't know how you do it, Oliver, but you're so frakkin' good-looking," but of course you just smiled like a giddy cylon.
Ahead of you lies the enormous, golden Cornucopia. You can see a basket of wands perched in the mouth of its horn, taunting the Tributes. Toward the east is a forest, thick and full of brambles alive with screeching that could be as harmless as owls or deadly as banshees. You've taken enough Care of Magical Creatures classes – although maybe "fight for your life against Hagrid's pets" classes would be more apt – to know what to watch out for. That is, if you can see in the darkness of the trees.
Towering over the west is a gently swaying field, easily high enough to conceal any number of dangers.
The glass recedes from your platform and you're free. Immediately, the hexes and curses – both magical and vulgar – begin to fly.
You see Pansy, Crabbe, and Draco Malfoy running for the Cornucopia, converging on poor Hannah Abbott, who doesn't stand a chance. You realize that no matter which direction you take toward the wands, you could be cornered, your time in these Games cut short. While a wand would be helpful, you didn't live eleven years and then six summers during Hogwarts as a Muggle for nothing. Maybe you can make it without one until the bloodbath subsides.
A.) Run for the Cornucopia
or
B.) B.) Run away?
